The renovation of historic Doubleday Field in Cooperstown is underway, and you can help!

​

Thanks to generous support from the Village of Cooperstown and New York State, efforts are well underway to preserve and enhance Doubleday Field - home to the famous “Sandlot Kid” statue - where, the great story goes, Abner Doubleday organized America's first game of town ball!

​

While state grants and village participation will go a long way to restore and enhance the visitor (and player!) experience, they won't do it alone!
