Doubleday Field Tours (April - October 5, 2024)

Tours will resume in April 2025

Tours of Doubleday Field are available to the public. A 1-hour session, including a talk on the history of the ballpark and an opportunity to go on the field, will be led by a local historian (Tom Heitz, former Librarian at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Jeff Katz, former Mayor of Cooperstown and author, or Pete Henrici, SABR member /researcher and former owner of Baseball Nostalgia). The tours, usually slated from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, will begin at the Grandstand entrance to Doubleday Field. There may some flexibility on times; it's totally dependent on the game schedule.

Admission is $20 per person. Each tour member will receive an exclusive Friends of Doubleday logo pin, created by the foremost sports graphic designer in the country, Todd Radom.

There are no pre-scheduled tours, so advance booking and payment is required. Contact us in advance at friendsofdoubledayfield@gmail.com to reserve your place for this special event.
